North Carolina State Archives

The Organization Records collection encompasses documents from many of North Carolina's private, professional, and civic organizations that have played a significant role in the state's history. This includes both defunct and currently active organizations.

Acquisition and management of these records are authorized by law and the North Carolina Administrative Code. Researchers are provided full assistance by our Public Services staff in the Search Room.

All Organization Records must be used on-site in the Search Room. Planning a Saturday visit? Please call ahead to ensure staff availability and assistance.
